California High School Basketball - Sacramento Country Day topped by Buckingham Charter

The Buckingham Charter Knights basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Sacramento Country Day Cavaliers to 42 in the Knights league victory on Thursday.

The Knights now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sacramento Adventist for a Sacramento Metropolitan Athletic League contest on Saturday, January 20. Buckingham Charter will battle a Capitals team coming off a 66-20 league win over Cristo Rey (Sacramento, CA). The Capitals record now stands at 7-12.

The Cavaliers (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Faith Christian (Yuba City, CA). The Lions come into the Sacramento Metropolitan Athletic League contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Faith Christian dropped by Valley Christian (Roseville, CA), 88-66, in a league contest.
