Alabama High School Basketball - Bullock County nips Montgomery Catholic

Bullock County Hornets (Union Springs, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Montgomery Catholic Knights (Montgomery, AL), 57-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Bullock County upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Hornets host Booker T. Washington (Tuskegee, AL) to play the Golden Eagles in a 4A Area 4 bout on Friday, January 19. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Booker T. Washington won 59-57 in their recent non-league bout against Brewbaker Tech (Montgomery, AL)

Next up, the Knights play the LAMP Golden Tigers (Montgomery, AL) in a 4A Area 4 bout, on Friday, January 19. Montgomery Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Golden Tigers go into the bout with a 8-11 record after their 52-40 league loss to Montgomery Catholic (Montgomery, AL).
