The Lourdes Eagles basketball team (Rochester, MN), was overwhelmed 65-38 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Byron Bears (Byron, MN)
The Bears now possess a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kasson-Mantorville for a AAA Section 1 battle on Saturday, January 20. Byron will confront a Komets team coming off a 66-53 non-league loss to Lake City (Lake City, MN). The Komets record now stands at 4-10.
The Eagles (3-15) will now prepare for their battle against Cannon Falls (Cannon Falls, MN). The Bombers come into the non-league battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Cannon Falls trounced Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN), 66-40, in a non-league battle.
