Roosevelt Bears (Wyandotte, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Carlson Marauders (Gibraltar, MI), 50-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Roosevelt upgrades its record to 4-9 on the season. The Bears host Trenton (Trenton, MI) to clash with the Trojans in a Downriver bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Trenton lost 54-38 in their recent league bout against Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, MI)

Next up, the Marauders clash with the Anderson Titans (Southgate, MI) in a Downriver game, on Tuesday, January 23. Carlson will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Titans enter the game with a 6-6 record after their 64-24 non-league win over Taylor (Taylor, MI).
