Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Carter Lions (Rialto, CA) and the host Kaiser Cats (Fontana, CA), saw Carter's basketball squad overcome Kaiser by a tally of 63-53.

With the victory, Carter improves its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Lions host Bloomington (Bloomington, CA) to confront the Bruins in a San Andreas challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 13-11. Bloomington won 54-18 in their recent league challenge against Rim of the World (Lake Arrowhead, CA)

Next up, the Cats confront the Jurupa Hills Spartans (Fontana, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, January 23. Kaiser will attempt to improve on its 4-18 season record. The Spartans come into the battle with a 10-11 record after their 77-73 league loss to Rialto (Rialto, CA).
