California High School Basketball - Latino College Preparatory Academy can't hold off Cindy Avitia

The Cindy Avitia Jaguars basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Latino College Preparatory Academy Golden Eagles to 47 in the Jaguars league triumph on Thursday.
The Jaguars now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Luis Valdez Leadership Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Cindy Avitia will battle a Lions team coming off a 74-38 league loss to Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit (San Jose, CA). The Lions record now stands at 2-8.
The Golden Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Apostles Lutheran (Santa Clara, CA). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Apostles Lutheran was nudged by Basis Independent Silicon Valley (San Jose, CA), 83-40, in a non-league contest.
