Citizens Christian Academy Patriots (Douglas, GA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Echols County Wildcats (Statenville, GA), 59-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Citizens Christian Academy upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Patriots host Westwood (Camilla, GA) to play the Wildcats in a GIAA AA Region 3 bout on Friday, January 19. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Westwood won 82-43 in their recent non-league bout against Crisp Academy (Cordele, GA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Aucilla Christian Warriors (Monticello, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Echols County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 66-51 non-league win over Wakulla Christian School (Crawfordville, FL).
