The Cleveland Clippers basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman Jaguars to 57 in the Clippers league triumph on Thursday.

The Clippers now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glenville-Emmons for a non-league contest on Monday, January 22. Cleveland will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 69-44 league win over Grand Meadow (Grand Meadow, MN). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-7.

The Jaguars (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial nudged Loyola (Mankato, MN), 86-38, in a non-league contest.
