The Garden Spot Spartans (New Holland, PA) basketball nipped the host Conestoga Valley Buckskins (Lancaster, PA), 52-49 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Spartans (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Ephrata (Ephrata, PA). The Mountaineers go into the non-league test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Ephrata got by Twin Valley (Elverson, PA), 55-44, in a non-league test.

The Buckskins now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Manheim Central for a Lancaster-Lebanon 2 test on Tuesday, January 23.
