Dysart Demons (El Mirage, AZ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Coronado Dons (Scottsdale, AZ), 79-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Dysart upgrades its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Demons host Tempe (Tempe, AZ) to play the Buffaloes in a 4A Black Canyon bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Buffaloes come into the bout with a record of 9-14. Tempe won 60-49 in their recent league bout against Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ)

Next up, the Dons play the Cortez Colts (Phoenix, AZ) in a 4A Black Canyon bout, on Friday, January 19. Coronado will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Colts come into the bout with a 9-10 record after their 62-20 league win over Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ).
