Silverton Foxes (Silverton, OR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Crescent Valley Raiders (Corvallis, OR), 56-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Silverton upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Foxes host McKay (Salem, OR) to play the Royal Scots in a 5A Mid-Willamette bout on Monday, January 22. The Royal Scots go into the bout with a record of 4-9. McKay lost 66-38 in their recent league bout against Central (Independence, OR)

Next up, the Raiders play the Central Panthers (Independence, OR) in a 5A Mid-Willamette bout, on Friday, January 19. Crescent Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record.
