The Northport Mustangs basketball team scored 99 points and restricted the host Curlew Cougars to 51 in the Mustangs league victory on Thursday.
The Mustangs now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Republic for a 1B Northeast contest on Saturday, January 20. Northport will battle a Tigers team coming off a 61-39 league loss to Inchelium (Inchelium, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 9-7.
The Cougars (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Inchelium (Inchelium, WA). The Hornets come into the 1B Northeast contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Inchelium triumphed over Republic (Republic, WA), 61-39, in a league contest.
