Delano Tigers (Delano, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Southwest Christian Stars (Chaska, MN), 71-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Delano upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to New Ulm (New Ulm, MN) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-5. New Ulm won 76-67 in their recent league bout against St. Peter (St. Peter, MN)

Next up, the Stars play the Western Christian Wolfpack (Hull, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Southwest Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record.
