In Thursday's league match, the visiting Tioga Pirates basketball team scored a decisive 60-38 triumph over the Divide County Maroons.
In their next game, the Pirates meet the Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood Mavericks (Renville, ND) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 20. Tioga will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Mavericks enter the match with a 8-3 record after their 65-55 non-league loss to Bottineau (Bottineau, ND).
With the defeat, Divide County moves to 0-11 on the year. The Maroons travel to Ray (Ray, ND) to meet the Ray Jays in a B District 7 match on Friday, January 19. The Ray Jays enter the match with a record of 3-6. Ray lost 86-73 in their recent league match against Trinity Christian (Williston, ND)
