The East Central Eagles basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] Huskies to 29 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Braham for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. East Central will battle a Bombers team coming off a 58-55 non-league win over Rush City (Rush City, MN). The Bombers record now stands at 11-5.

The Huskies (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against Floodwood (Floodwood, MN). The Polar Bears enter the non-league contest with a 0-12 record. In their last contest, Floodwood was routed by Bigfork (Bigfork, MN), 80-33, in a league contest.
