Far Rockaway Seahorses (Far Rockaway, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Martin Falcons (Jamaica, NY), 77-66 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Far Rockaway upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Seahorses travel to Campus Magnet (Cambria Heights, NY) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Campus Magnet won 68-59 in their recent league bout against Martin (Jamaica, NY)

Next up, the Falcons play the Campus Magnet Bulldogs (Cambria Heights, NY) in a PSAL Area Freelance bout, on Saturday, January 20. Martin will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 72-47 non-league loss to Architecture, Engineering and Construction (Bronx, NY).
