South Carolina High School Basketball - Greenwood Christian winner over First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest

In Thursday's league outing, the Greenwood Christian Hawks (Greenwood, SC) basketball squad felled the host First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest Crusaders (Greenville, SC), by a margin of 37-27.

The Hawks (14-3) will now prepare for their outing against Northside Christian Academy (Lexington, SC). The Crusaders go into the non-league outing with a 10-4 record. In their last outing, Northside Christian Academy thwarted Orangeburg Prep (Orangeburg, SC), 69-61, in a league outing.

The Crusaders now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Anderson Cavaliers for a non-league outing on Friday, January 19. First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest will encounter a Cavaliers squad coming off a 73-38 non-league win over Augusta Eagles (Martinez, GA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-7.
