The Franklin Warriors basketball team (Somerset, NJ), was nudged 40-39 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Watchung Hills Regional Warriors (Warren, NJ)
The Warriors now possess a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ridge for a Skyland - Raritan battle on Monday, January 22. Watchung Hills Regional will battle a Red Devil team coming off a 63-50 non-league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, NJ). The Red Devil record now stands at 10-3.
The Warriors (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Gill St. Bernard's (Gladstone, NJ). The Knights come into the Skyland - Delaware battle with a 7-6 record.
