The West Bloomfield Lakers basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Groves Falcons to 57 in the Lakers league victory on Thursday.

The Lakers now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Park for a Oakland - Red contest on Friday, January 26.

The Falcons (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against North Farmington (Farmington Hills, MI). The Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 11-0 record. In their last contest, North Farmington edged GlenOak (Canton, OH), 62-54, in a non-league contest.
