Halifax Wildcats (Halifax, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Susquenita Blackhawks (Duncannon, PA), 71-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Halifax upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Greenwood (Millerstown, PA) to play the Wildcats in a Tri-Valley bout on Monday, January 22. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Greenwood won 56-40 in their recent league bout against Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy (Boalsburg, PA)

Next up, the Blackhawks play the Millersburg Indians (Millersburg, PA) in a Tri-Valley bout, on Monday, January 22. Susquenita will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 46-38 league loss to Line Mountain (Herndon, PA).
