With the win, Mountain Lake/Comfrey upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The host Southwest Minnesota Christian (Edgerton, MN) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, January 22. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Southwest Minnesota Christian lost 62-52 in their recent league bout against Central Minnesota Christian (Prinsburg, MN)

Next up, the Patriots play the Adrian/Ellsworth Dragons (Adrian, MN) in a A Section 3 bout, on Monday, January 22. Hills-Beaver Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 84-55 non-league loss to St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN).
