Colorado High School Basketball - Holly nudges Las Animas

In Thursday's league outing, the Holly Wildcats (Holly, CO) basketball squad nipped the visiting Las Animas Trojans (Las Animas, CO), by a margin of 68-65.

The Wildcats (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Crowley County (Ordway, CO). The Chargers go into the 3A/2A Santa Fe outing with a 12-0 record. In their last outing, Crowley County got by Hoehne (Hoehne, CO), 66-36, in a league outing.

The Trojans now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Calhan for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 20. Las Animas will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 73-58 league loss to Burlington (Burlington, CO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-4.
