In Thursday's non-league outing, the Inter-Lakes Lakers (Meredith, NH) basketball squad edged the host Moultonborough Academy Panthers (Moultonborough, NH), by a margin of 44-41.
The Lakers (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Somersworth (Somersworth, NH). The Toppers go into the Division III outing with a 1-7 record.
The Panthers now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Franklin for a Division IV outing on Tuesday, January 23. Moultonborough Academy will clash with a Tornadoes squad coming off a 55-37 league win over Nute (Milton, NH). The Tornadoes record now stands at 8-4.
