Starks Panthers (Starks, LA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Johnson Bayou Rebels (Cameron, LA), 91-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Starks upgrades its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Panthers host South Cameron (Creole, LA) to play the Tarpons in a C District 4 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Tarpons come into the bout with a record of 2-17.

Next up, the Rebels play the Hackberry Mustangs (Hackberry, LA) in a C District 4 bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Johnson Bayou will attempt to upgrade on its 3-18 season record.
