In Thursday's league outing, the Spectrum Sting (Elk River, MN) basketball squad beat the visiting Legacy Christian Academy Lions (Andover, MN), by a margin of 70-60.

The Sting (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against North Branch (North Branch, MN). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 10-6 record. In their last outing, North Branch defeated Monticello (Monticello, MN), 62-52, in a league outing.

The Lions now own a 13-3 record. They play next when they host United Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. Legacy Christian Academy will play a Eagles squad coming off a 78-76 non-league loss to Eagle Ridge Academy (Minnetonka, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 9-6.
