Math & Science Academy Dragons (Woodbury, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Liberty Classical Academy (Maplewood, MN), 94-88 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Math & Science Academy upgrades its record to 10-10 on the campaign. The Dragons host Community of Peace Academy (St. Paul, MN) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 22. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 2-13.

Next up, the play the New Life Academy Eagles (Woodbury, MN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Liberty Classical Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 67-55 non-league win over Metro College Prep (Minneapolis, MN).
