North Carolina High School Basketball - Mountain Heritage winner over Madison

January 18, 2024: Burnsville, NC 28714

In Thursday's league outing, the Mountain Heritage Cougars (Burnsville, NC) basketball squad felled the visiting Madison Patriots (Marshall, NC), by a margin of 66-55.

The Cougars (8-8) will now prepare for their outing against Draughn (Valdese, NC). The Wildcats go into the 1A/2A Western Highlands outing with a 5-11 record. In their last outing, Draughn thwarted NCSSM: Morganton (Morganton, NC), 67-54, in a league outing.

The Patriots now own a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Mitchell for a 1A/2A Western Highlands outing on Tuesday, January 23.
