Florida High School Basketball - Marco Island Academy beaten by Naples Classical

The Naples Classical Academy ran past the host Marco Island Academy Rays basketball team by a final score of 79-60 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Academy face the Oasis Sharks (Cape Coral, FL) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 19. Naples Classical will attempt to move on its 6-10 season record. The Sharks enter the game with a 12-6 record after their 59-54 non-league loss to Cape Coral (Cape Coral, FL).

With the defeat, Marco Island Academy moves to 4-11 on the year. The Rays host Moore Haven (Moore Haven, FL) to face the Terriers in a non-league game on Monday, January 22. The Terriers enter the game with a record of 11-5. Moore Haven lost 41-32 in their recent non-league game against Glades Central (Belle Glade, FL)
