The Mount St. Mary Rockets basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Marshall Bears to 51 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Rockets now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kiefer for a non-league contest on Friday, January 19. Mount St. Mary will meet a Trojans team coming off a 44-41 non-league win over Classen SAS (Oklahoma City, OK). The Trojans record now stands at 9-4.
The Bears (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Classen SAS (Oklahoma City, OK). The Comets enter the non-league contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Classen SAS was nudged by Kiefer (Kiefer, OK), 44-41, in a non-league contest.
