In Thursday's league outing, the McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) basketball squad beat the host Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA), by a count of 58-45.
The Highlanders (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against Herndon (Herndon, VA). The Hornets go into the District 2 outing with a 5-7 record.
The Generals now hold a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to George C. Marshall for a District 2 outing on Tuesday, January 23. Washington-Liberty will clash with a Statesmen squad coming off a 56-42 league loss to Yorktown (Arlington, VA). The Statesmen record now stands at 12-5.
