Georgia High School Basketball - Towers trounces McNair

January 18, 2024: Decatur, GA 30032

The Towers Titans (Decatur, GA) basketball crushed the visiting McNair Mustangs (Atlanta, GA), 83-50 in Thursday's league test.

The Titans (9-7) will now prepare for their test against Elite Scholars Academy (Jonesboro, GA). The Royal Knights go into the AA Region 5 test with a 2-11 record. In their last test, Elite Scholars Academy was trounced by Redan (Stone Mountain, GA), 60-32, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 1-15 record. They play next when they host Callaway for a AA Region 5 test on Friday, January 19. McNair will encounter a Cavaliers squad coming off a 72-50 non-league win over Heard County (Franklin, GA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-8.
