With the victory, Navajo Prep improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Zuni (Zuni, NM) to confront the Thunderbirds in a 3A District 1 battle on Tuesday, January 23. The Thunderbirds come into the battle with a record of 7-8. Zuni won 46-33 in their recent league battle against Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM)

The Hawks (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM). The Broncos come into the non-league battle with a 5-9 record. In their last battle, Kirtland Central trounced Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM), 61-57, in a non-league battle.
