New Mexico High School Basketball - Whitehorse routs Northwest

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Whitehorse Raiders (Montezuma Creek, UT) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Northwest Falcons (Shiprock, NM), by a count of 72-33.

The Raiders (7-7) will now prepare for their outing against Green River (Green River, UT). The Pirates go into the 1A Region 19 outing with a 10-5 record. In their last outing, Green River smashed Pinnacle (Price, UT), 65-47, in a league outing.

The Falcons now hold a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to Coronado for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 20. Northwest will clash with a Leopards squad coming off a 61-50 non-league win over Native American Community Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Leopards record now stands at 3-8.
