Alabama High School Basketball - Park Crossing nudges Pike Road

January 18, 2024: Pike Road, AL 36064

Park Crossing Thunderbirds (Montgomery, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Pike Road Patriots (Pike Road, AL), 63-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Park Crossing upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Thunderbirds host Russell County (Seale, AL) to clash with the Warriors in a 6A Area 4 bout on Friday, January 19. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 13-5. Russell County won 71-56 in their recent non-league bout against Northside (Columbus, GA)

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Russell County Warriors (Seale, AL) in a 6A Area 4 bout, on Saturday, January 20. Pike Road will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 13-6 record after their 50-44 league loss to Park Crossing (Montgomery, AL).
