Woodgrove Wolverines (Purcellville, VA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Park View Patriots (Sterling, VA), 77-47 in a league bout.

With the victory, Woodgrove upgrades its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Broad Run (Ashburn, VA) to play the Spartans in a Catoctin bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 8-3.

Next up, the Patriots play the Heritage Pride (Leesburg, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Park View will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Pride come into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 65-55 league loss to Rock Ridge (Ashburn, VA).
