Wicomico Indians (Salisbury, MD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Parkside Rams (Salisbury, MD), 52-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Wicomico upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Indians travel to North Caroline (Ridgely, MD) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 22. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-6. North Caroline lost 82-71 in their recent league bout against Colonel Richardson (Federalsburg, MD)

Next up, the Rams play the Mardela Warriors (Mardela Springs, MD) in a Bayside - South bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Parkside will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 88-28 league loss to Bennett (Salisbury, MD).
