The St. Anselm's Abbey Panthers basketball team (Washington, DC), was nudged 45-41 in Thursday's league battle with the host Smith Jewish Day School Lions (Rockville, MD)
The Lions now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McLean for a Potomac Valley battle on Monday, February 5.
The Panthers (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering (Washington, DC). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 2-8 record.
