The West Morris Central Wolfpack (Chester, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Sparta Spartans (Sparta, NJ), 57-39 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Wolfpack (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Chatham (Chatham, NJ). The Cougars go into the Northwest Jersey - American test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Chatham notched a victory over Delbarton (Morristown, NJ), 46-44, in a league test.
The Spartans now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Saddle River Day for a non-league test on Saturday, January 20. Sparta will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 79-67 non-league loss to St. Thomas Aquinas (Edison, NJ). The Rebels record now stands at 3-5.
