Next up, the Bears confront the Newcomb Skyhawks (Newcomb, NM) in a 3A District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Wingate will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Skyhawks come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 74-59 league win over Thoreau (Thoreau, NM).
