Alexandria City Titans (Alexandria, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA), 50-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Alexandria City upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Titans host West Springfield (Springfield, VA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Monday, January 22. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 0-4.
Next up, the Lions play the Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Fairfax will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 51-49 non-league loss to South County (Lorton, VA).
