The Jesuit Blue Jays basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting St. Augustine Purple Knights to 57 in the Blue Jays non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Blue Jays now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holy Cross for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Jesuit will battle a Tigers team coming off a 55-51 non-league loss to St. Augustine (New Orleans, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.
The Purple Knights (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Holy Cross (New Orleans, LA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.
