The Spanish Springs Cougars basketball team scored 39 points and held the visiting Reno Huskies to 33 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now sport a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carson for a contest on Monday, January 22. Spanish Springs will meet a Senators team coming off a 52-39 league loss to McQueen (Reno, NV). The Senators record now stands at 7-11.
The Huskies (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Douglas (Minden, NV). The Tigers enter the contest with a 15-3 record. In their last contest, Douglas nudged Reed (Sparks, NV), 72-50, in a non-league contest.
