Abingdon Falcons (Abingdon, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Ridgeview Wolfpack (Clintwood, VA), 46-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Abingdon upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Falcons host Central Wise (Norton, VA) to clash with the Warriors in a Mountain bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 11-3. Central Wise won 68-40 in their recent league bout against John Battle (Bristol, VA)

Next up, the Wolfpack clash with the Lee Generals (Jonesville, VA) in a Mountain bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Ridgeview will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record.
