Union Local Jets (Belmont, OH) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Barnesville Shamrocks (Barnesville, OH), 67-31 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Union Local upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Jets host St. Clairsville (St. Clairsville, OH) to play the Red Devils in a Buckeye 8 bout on Saturday, January 20. The Red Devils come into the bout with a record of 3-12. St. Clairsville lost 54-29 in their recent league bout against Bellaire (Bellaire, OH)

Next up, the Shamrocks play the Bridgeport Bulldogs (Bridgeport, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 22. Barnesville will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record.
