Dadeville Tigers (Dadeville, AL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Beulah Bobcats (Valley, AL), 57-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, Dadeville upgrades its record to 1-7 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Central of Coosa County (Rockford, AL) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 4-5. Central of Coosa County won 56-53 in their recent league bout against Isabella (Maplesville, AL)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Reeltown Rebels (Notasulga, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Beulah will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Rebels come into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 61-35 league loss to Horseshoe Bend (New Site, AL).
