Nandua Warriors (Onley, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Broadwater Academy Vikings (Exmore, VA), 58-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Nandua upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Warriors travel to Northampton (Eastville, VA) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a Eastern Shore bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 0-9. Northampton lost 50-36 in their recent league bout against Chincoteague (Chincoteague, VA)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Isle of Wight Academy Chargers (Isle of Wight, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 22. Broadwater Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 62-42 non-league loss to Walsingham Academy (Williamsburg, VA).
