Nevada High School Basketball - Carlin ripped by Wells

The Wells Leopards basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Carlin Railroaders to 7 in the Leopards league triumph on Thursday.

The Leopards now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Owyhee for a 1A East contest on Friday, January 19. Wells will meet a Braves team coming off a 62-29 league loss to Eureka (Eureka, NV). The Braves record now stands at 8-5.

The Railroaders (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Jackpot (Jackpot, NV). The Jaguars enter the 1A East contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Jackpot was routed by Wells (Wells, NV), 45-6, in a league contest.
