The Our Lady of Mercy Academy Villagers (Newfield, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting Cedar Creek Pirates (Egg Harbor City, NJ), 54-19 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Villagers (14-1) will now prepare for their test against Point Pleasant Boro (Point Pleasant, NJ). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 8-5 record.
The Pirates now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Pemberton for a non-league test on Saturday, January 20. Cedar Creek will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 56-47 non-league win over Burlington Township (Burlington, NJ). The Hornets record now stands at 8-6.
