The Oak Mountain Eagles basketball team (Birmingham, AL), was overwhelmed 56-19 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Chelsea Hornets (Chelsea, AL)
The Hornets now possess a 22-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hewitt-Trussville for a 7A Area 6 battle on Friday, January 19. Chelsea will battle a Huskies team coming off a 54-21 league win over Spain Park (Hoover, AL). The Huskies record now stands at 19-5.
The Eagles (6-18) will now prepare for their battle against Spain Park (Hoover, AL). The Jaguars come into the 7A Area 6 battle with a 7-16 record.
