St. Francis Fighting Saints (St. Francis, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats (Lindstrom, MN), 65-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Francis upgrades its record to 6-9 on the season. The Fighting Saints travel to Pine City (Pine City, MN) to clash with the Dragons in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Pine City won 65-43 in their recent non-league bout against Hinckley-Finlayson (Hinckley, MN)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Big Lake Hornets (Big Lake, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Chisago Lakes Area will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 56-40 league loss to Becker (Becker, MN).
